Description

Originating from Czech republic this Art Deco centrepiece two handled bowl not only visually looks stunning with it's very distinctive green / yellow colouring and jet black enamel accents but is a great size too, 39cm wide! . The glass is extremely thick and therefore the bowl itself is deceptively heavy. Offered in excellent condition with no flaws or damage to note.
The most common color of uranium glass is pale yellowish-green, which in the 1930s led to the nickname "Vaseline glass" based on a perceived resemblance to the appearance (which was a yellow-green colour) of Vaseline brand petroleum jelly as formulated and commercially sold at that time. This vase definitely won't disappoint, we defy the new owner not to fall in love it.
