Description

For your consideration is this superbly stylish large German Bauhaus mantel clock manufactured in the 1930's. This is a beautifully crafted and seldomly seen art deco table or mantle clock showcasing different types of wood like calamander in a stunning composition and a superbly shaped silver plated dial with slightly unusual bold and square numerals behind faceted glass inside a chrome bezel.
This type of architectural Art Deco clock is often produced by German clock makers Junghans, Kienzle, Mauthe, Hermle, to name a few. Although unmarked it's very likely this timepiece was made by one of these mentioned makers.
Fully functioning: chiming every half and full hour on a single coil gong.
This wind-up clock truly is a rare example of stunning architectural Bauhaus craftsmanship.
Comes with winding key. FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY.
