Description
Totally authentic and rare 1930s Art Deco matching pair of wall lights or sconces. These wall lights are in heavy frosted glass with the most wonderful silhouette of a female nude in a dance pose. All held in a chrome frame. The lights are fitted with moulded pink glass shades and chrome plated wall brackets. They are decorated with beautiful female nudes and a geometric design, which are both raised in relief. They are marked with their makers name - NESDAM plus PATENT APPLIED FOR and measure approx 10 3/8" or 26.5 cm wide x 8 1/2" or 21.5 cm high.They are fitted with normal sized brass bayonet fit bulb holders, which are working fine and can use any mains power from 120 to 240 volts. The glass shades are easily fitted into their wall bracket and are held in place by two spring mounted arms.
They date to 1920's - 1930's and display beautifully. Condition of the glass is good with one of two small chips on the inside rim which can't be seen once in their brackets and the chrome frame is also very good but does show signs of age related wear.
