Description

This is a super rare opportunity to acquire one of these beautifully reduced versions of the facade bas-relief of the Folies-Bergeres cabaret.
One time designer, Pico who created the dancing lady facade over the entrance to the Folies Bergeres building in Paris in 1926. The central panal is the dancer Lila Nikolska, who posed for the sculpture. Please note this sale is for the two matching side panels, the central panel is being sold separetly.
These are matching and beautifully and very skillfully crafted side panel plaques which are a limited edition of 50 - I only have a few left. Once these are gone, that's it forever. The artist who created these is a Parisian gentleman , recently retired as of last year who worked for 40 years to all the major Paris museums as an art restorer, so the credentials are excellent. Made from plaster and with hand applied gold gilding/ spray . The panel measures 60cm by 20cm by 4cm and weighs almost 10kg. Two hooking eyelets are on the back.
