On first viewing this piece one can't not be impressed by the obvious quality and reduced size , made from solid oak for the carcass with a beautifully heavily figured blonde birds eye maple veneers to the exterior, it just oozes style and luxury. A very solid, heavy piece that will last any new owners lifetime and beyond. The doors both open smoothly with a latch to secure. Brass hinges all working well and not corroded. Lots of useful and generous sized storage within, with two very generously sized open shelves and two full length drawers to the base. We've given this piece a professional and full restoration . It's free from any damage and is in very good showroom condition with a beautiful polished finish. The cherry red catalin bakelite and chrome handles are original to this piece and really pop against the blonde wood.
