Description
For your consideration is this rare and very enchanting ceramic powder / trinket box, dating to the 1930's , sourced in US. Depicts a flapper girl stood drying herself with a bath towel dressed in the fashion of the day bathing costume. The base, power box itself emulates the water with blue waves. The attention to detail is just wonderful, so evocative of the era, from her slightly blushed cheeks to her swimsuit, everything about this piece screams quality and at every angle she looks amazing. No markers name but paintress mark to each piece and a registration number embossed underneath. She's in great condition with no damage , however she does have a very faint firing crack to the lid which occurred in the manufacturing process. The whole piece is impressively tall standing 10" ( 25 cm ) . A rare find and a must for any Powder box/ Art Deco collector.
