Description
For your consideration is this stylish French manufactured 1930's Art Deco clock. Carved tri coloured Onyx including blue, Green case finished with an oblong gilded dial with Arabic display, black steel hands and alarm time set hand, to the right of the clock case features the figure of a stylised Deco Polar bear in silver washed spelter. The back of the clock shows the dust cover in brass along with key stud winder and fittings for powering the movement including alarm mainspring and for adjusting the hands for time telling and for alarm time.In good vintage condition, there are a few small nibbles to the Onyx construction and the glass is missing to the dial. The clock mechanism has been serviced by an horologist and keeps good time.
