Description
For your consideration is this beautiful 1930's Art Deco combination compact . One of the main criteria's which command high desirability and collectability is condition and this compact has it in abundance. So often found with flaking enamel or specs and chips of enamel missing. Not this one, it's in the best condition you could hope for. One could easily think it's not ever been used when viewing the exterior.The lid is enamelled in a baby yellow and marbleized caramel colouring enamel with a streamline chrome detailing. The hinge is tight and the large flip-down clasp closes securely. The back is in excellent condition. The interior has original powder puff pads and mirror and a chrome retainer for cigarettes.
