Extremely stylish piece of jewellery from the house of Jakob Bengel, dating to the 1930's and so advanced for its time in it's design that one could be forgiven for not recognising it as a period piece. One of the leading manufacturers of Art Deco jewellery, the company produced in the 1920's and 1930's very innovative and individual pieces of the time, aesthetically characterised by their unique designs and modernist slant. This bracelet is quite weighty and is made of segmented pieces linked with in chromed links of blue & black enamel accents. The design of the bracelet is referred to as brickwork and more often seen as earrings. Condition is excellent with little to no signs of it's age. This piece could be old/new stock that's not been worn or used such is the condition, a rare find indeed. Ideal for day or evening wear for the fashion savvy lady of today.
