This clock is pure joy to look at if you admire the aesthetics of Art Deco. The highly styled numerals which are filled in mustard yellow paint compliment the brass casing and would of originally illuminated in the dark ( they no longer do this). The main dial has a sub seconds dial too with the makers name Bayard centre middle. A great size too and a feel of genuine quality when you handle it, deceptively heavy. As with all our clocks it's been fully serviced and so comes to you in good working order. The condition is above average on the dial, so often these silvered dials are heavily scratched, this one shows some blemishing but really you couldn't wish for better considering it's 90 odd years. The case is bright and generally in very good condition, it does show the odd war wound by way of the odd bump and dint but nothing to get too excited about. A reasonably rare style of clock, we've only had this once in the past year.
